The Dome appears to be a wreckfest other than the midgets. They've been the best racing!

I’m a late model nut, but to be brutally honest...the midgets have hijacked this event. They are the stars of the show.

It helps that the midgets are invitation only.

What’s a junfest?

I thought the same during the B-Mains, but you can’t top that main event.

They should have a race there Thanksgiving weekend....Prelude to the Dumpster Fire. I can’t imagine what that’s like inside those cars when it’s that rough.

It's hit or miss with the mods. Their Main went flag to flag the first year with no caution. And they can have some awesome racing! I enjoy watching all 3 classes. The Late Models have definitely been a slug fest though. It's a he11 of a show to watch when it's rough like that.

Sort of odd to see that many motors go up in smoke for a little 1/5th mile bullring.

I bet them open wheelers do want a ride for next year. Just not their equipment.

I wonder if Schatz is planning on entering the late model races @ Vado with the same car Sheppy bounced around the dome all weekend?

Really easy to over rev one with both rear tires off the ground and no real way to know when it’s gonna happen

That would be the logical assessment Switchback but I thought they had chips or rev limiters that would eliminate that.

I don’t run a rev limiter chip. Normally twisting one too much isn’t likely. The crate dudes all run limiter chips, and I bet everyone that goes next year will. I am gonna run a mag though, I can see a battery cable falling off on that track.

Its the being in the air over revving the engine and then coming back down and the car digging in again. its free wheeling then its dug in

Is that kind of failure common in trophy trucks?

No, with TT's and monster trucks a landing is done off the gas, but the whole driveline is spinning.

Here’s a video of my neighbor at the shop’s Monster Truck “split personality” this is a fresh motor. He blew it up landing it about a week before. Said it was his fault. Now that I think about it. This is the race truck. They have a ride truck too.
