I don't think Moran ever made a lap. I don't think he ever will.

Seems reasonably priced....obviously the Carpenters have stayed in business as a regional chassis builder. It will be interesting to see if the Dome win propels them to a higher level on the national stage in terms of increased car sales.

yes Gary Webb has a kryptonite and raced after the fire and was the track champion at quad city speedway this year. His 18th East Moline track title and 28th overall. Although Gary didn't win a feature, he probably had his most consistent year since '05 or '06. Only finished out of the top five one time at QCS this season.

Kryptonite is quickly gaining steam in the central Illinois area. Aside from Weisser, I believe the kid (Chasteen jr.) who won just about everything at Peoria this year is in one, and I am aware of another new one that will show up in the area next season as well. Blaze Burwell (Mt. Vernon) is a dealer for them...

They built one. Junior Nolan has/had it. The chassis take way too long to build and it would gum up the XR1 assembly line. Several builders buy the XR1 rear clip and build their own for customers.

They definitely build a way better and safer piece than some of the stuff that was coming out of there a few years back. Like Tyler said in victory lane though they are a little one dimensional as far as struggling on the big and fast type tracks. Very sporty on stop and go

Pretty sure Derek Losh who won the Modified section of Gateway was in a XR1 Modified... Not sure if its a Ruhlman or not. Usually real competative cars in Indiana
