– FASTRAK Companies International, LLC will host a “State of 604 Racing” on January 25th at 10 am at the Hilton in Greenville, SC. All teams, track operators, and sponsors are invited to attend, regardless of affiliation with other sanctioning bodies. The “State of 604 Racing” will be a discussion on the current state of the 604 Late Model class. The meeting is free to attend.
“We are hosting this meeting to discuss the current state of the class, and its future moving forward,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “It is important for teams, tracks, sponsors, and sanctioning bodies to work together to keep this class strong into the future.”
Everyone is encouraged to bring their laptops and mobile devices as well, as there will be a demonstration on how to use Skype. FASTRAK utilizes the free video conferencing software to help eliminate the need to travel to host meetings with teams, tracks, and sponsors. The FASTRAK staff will assist everyone in downloading the software and creating an account.
“We use Skype every day to communicate within our organization,” said Irvine, “Honestly, it is the quickest way to communicate with us at the corporate office.”
The Hilton Greenville is located at 45 West Orchard Drive. Guests are encouraged to RSVP by emailing dj@fastrakracing.com or sl@fastrakracing.com to ensure there is enough seating for everyone.
The “State of 604 Racing” meeting is being held before FASTRAK’s annual Night of Champions banquet. Those wishing to attend the banquet need to purchase tickets by calling Stephanie Gordon at 678-528-3117. Tickets are $35 each. A social hour will be held from 5pm to 6pm with dinner being served at 6pm and the awards ceremony to follow.
