Bought a older rayburn for cheap in rolling condition. I would like to update the rear of the car I think its early 2000 range guessing. It has really long rear trailing arms. This is for a budget class at a local 1/2 mile with lots of speed. Any help would be much appreciated.

That baby is a 90s model. It was almost free lol but very nice for the age. Is it worth trying to update in anyway? I am just getting my feet wet at this. Camaros an nova are all I have driven.

You can update anything if you know what to do. It's just tubing. Really depends how far you want to go and what you want to race against.

If you can slide the kick up on the RR frame rail back about a foot, raise the rack crossmember about 2", and lower the rf upper control arm mount about 1.5", that rear geometry would be very good for a Cash Money Series car if you put a 4 link cage on the LR.

I would also change the panhard bar to a LR mount to the right side of the pinion as well. works WAY better.
