They need to make the decision ASAP in my opinion..lot of people need to know for vacation time and it would be good for racers to know. If you read WoO"s updated schedile release they mention not racing on Dream weekend so maybe it has a chance for PPV only
No way in heck they have a full stands.

I say they give full stands a shot. They'd have to bring in the state militia to stop thousands of people. And if they do manage to shut it down Tony can file suit in Federal Court. In my area county DA's are already telling businesses to open if they want because they aren't prosecuting any businesses for opening.

1/5 Americans out of a job as of yesterday. Not sure where you get your info but last time i checked 14% isn't 1/5. I only know two people who are on ferlow. And i don't think people in the great depression were getting 100% unemployment plus a extra 400$. Things are tight right now for alot of people but the large majority wants to go back to work and their are jobs waiting for them as soon as the states get their heads out of their ass. This is a big deal but the current reaction doesent fit the numbers. People/ business's need to push back. We've played their game long enough time to get back to work you can't hide from it.

Where I live you can work part time and still collect unemployment. I'm classified as part time but work full time. The downfall in doing that is if you use it up when you don't need to and something happens and you need to rely on it you won't have it until the next year.

Some are making more money on unemployment than they were working. So they don't want to go back to work. At my brothers job 2 ft guys chose to work 2 days a week and collect unemployment. The other 2 are PT an gets screwed because there working more hours now. So they can't get it. Anyone else see the next event on Eldora Facebook? It's showing nothing til late September.

Early on Gov Dewine has mandated that if you were a resident of ohio, returning to ohio after traveling out of state, that you were to quarantine for 14 days. It was aimed at the snow bird population returning from the south in the spring, but also included my son who had traveled to VA to visit his GF.

I guess they could open and run it if they follow the 50% capacity guideline, but then how do you determine who gets to attend and who doesn't? I would bet that probably over 50% of the fans get there tickets In November during the pre-sale period every year. If they are using the latest guide lines then i would guess it's not gonna happen in June. As right now Mass gatherings are still prohibited even if they are out doors. I too hope they announce something soon so i can rearrange my vacation if needed and possible. This was copied from the current order that is still in place as far as i know . The date it was put up was May 2nd , I don't know if it has been amended as of yet. But the page i found the link on said update as of May 14.

This list was under a heading titled continued business closures. but is most likely not 100% accurate because i think I've heard of some of these types of places opening up anyhow.

Entertainment/recreation/gymnasium sites.

Includes, but is not limited to:
All places of public amusement, whether indoors or outdoors, such as:
Laser tag facilities, roller skating rinks, ice skating rinks, arcades, indoor miniature golf facilities, bowling alleys, indoor trampoline parks, indoor water parks, arcades, and adult and child skill or chance game facilities remain closed.
Gambling industries.
Auditoriums, stadiums, arenas.
Movie theatres, performance theatres, and concert and music halls
Public recreation centers and indoor sports facilities.
Parades, fairs, festivals, and carnivals.
Amusement parks, theme parks, outdoor water parks, children's play centers, playgrounds, and funplexes.
Aquariums, zoos, museums, historical sites, and similar institutions.
Country clubs and social clubs.

Spectator sports, recreational sports tournaments and organized recreational sports leagues.

Health clubs, fitness centers, workout facilities, gyms, and yoga studios.

Swimming pools, whether public or private, except swimming pools for single households.

Residential and day camps.

Campgrounds, including recreational camps and recreational vehicle (RV) parks.

Excludes people living in campground RVs with no other viable place of residence.

Excludes people living in cabins, mobile homes, or other fixed structures that are meant for single families and where preexisting residential activity already has been established. (E.g., for people who have part-time preestablished residences at campgrounds for the summer months.)

Agreed, this COVID-19 is a joke. 99.8% survival rate and people are acting like the worlds coming to an end. Shut of the the news and get back to normal life people. Quit being a bunch of wimps.

And 2/3 of the deaths were nursing home patients that had serious health issues already. In almost all of the deaths the person had one or more severe pre-existing health conditions. Healthy people are not dying from this.

Some healthy people have died from this virus.

Replace "some" with "a lot" and you nailed it.

I really wish they would make a decision one way or the other. I purchased many reserved seats last November and have never missed a Dream race. It would be nice to know what's going on so I can make plans on if I need to find replacements as not everyone can drop what they are doing on a dime. Little over 2 weeks away! I need a Yes or No.
