On the straight? Mid corner? When you drop the lf to turn like an anchor?

A lot of these car follow one tire or the other depending on rear steer and tire loads, or an imaginary point in between.

It's much more complicated than the question. Mid corner on or off the fuel can have a huge impact on lf tire load. If it has 50# on it, who cars where the lf points?

At alot of points on the track, it really doesn't. We line the rear up with the rf dynamically and use the rr quarter for a rudder. The lf is pointed at the infield (compared to the direction of the chassis) doing nothing. Then you slow for the corner, it grabs and pulls the nose down the hill. Then you chase the rf again. I used to think all xr1 cars were pushing like a dump truck when I watched them from the infield.

Perfectly?, as in, if I run a string down the rf sidewalls, it will contact the rr's sidewalls perfectly???

No. More like a hacked up tricycle.

Sounds like its not worth the time to work on mechanical grip!

That's two totally different things. There isn't a car on the track where the toe is optimized all the way around the track. We are just now trying to optimize load at a couple of places.

And people are just beginning to grasp the concept that antisquat under acceleration is prosquat during deceleration.

That's why I was asking what is the trend these days at mid corner.
