Heard it is opening back up under new promoter is this true ?
There were some discussions recently about it, so wouldn’t be too surprised if true.

I hope someone with the knowledge and $$$ comes in and runs the place right!
Its a good opportunity right now with Blue Ridge and Boyd's shut down.

You will never have anyone sink the money it needs to do the fact it’s a lease. Until the Young's decide to sell and if they do hopefully it will be someone that buys it to run the racetrack instead of building a subdivision. I was told they have had offers on the land for development. First place I ever turned a lap so it’s near to my heart.

Maybe they’ll get 3-4 weeks under their belt by then to get it dialed in.
In a perfect world, you’d see a practice in a couple of weeks with a race the next. August 22nd start would be about perfect.
Fingers crossed.

Posted on FB this morning that Randy Walston is the new promoter and will be opening soon! Wishing him much success, and hope he and his crew have what it takes to revive the best track in Georgia! (Not that I am biased)

I was there! Pretty good little show. Good crowd for a weekly show. Fantastic crate race between Brindle, Jackson, and Litchford. One of the best battles I've seen there in a while.
Only complaints are that cautions lasted forever, Front wheel drive/pony, and the beginner class should not be ran before crate and late models, but other than that, enjoyed the show!
Glad to have NGS back open!

Dad went, he said the same thing. We had 47 things going on and when I finally got done with everything it was a little after 9pm so I just stayed home.
Looking forward to being there on the 12th and 19th though.
I wishe he’s run
Sportsman
Late Model
Crate
Beginner
Pony
In a that order for the features, but just glad it’s back up and going so I’ll take it.
