Unbelievable Sheppard would skip these 4 days of racing to run for pennies at summer nats. Mark has to have something against the King family is all I can think of. I know they’ve been on the road a long time heading to this weekend but when you are the best team in dirt late model racing, you’d think you’d hit every 50k to win show you possibly could.

The WoO guys have been on the road for a long while when the N/S hits. Everybody and everything is worn out after all that. They all use the time to refresh the bodies and the equipment.

Darrell usually uses the week for an actual vacation. While his shop is just five minutes up the road, he himself generally isn’t.
