FALS. Super Nationals

EXTreme Brand Products

Matt Curl, owner and Promoter of Fairbury Speedway, commonly known as FALS, announced today that Butch Price, owner of BIG DAWG POWER PRODUCTS, along with EXTREME BRAND PRODUCTS, had stepped up with some Big Contingency Awards for the upcoming Super Nationals weekend.

Big Dawg Power Products will give away contingency awards to both the MARS DIRTcar Late Model Series and to the AMS series presented by Summit.

Winners of both classes will receive:

1 Case of 20w50 Extreme Racing Oil
1 Gallon of 85w140 Gear Oil

Fast Time Winners of both A and B in both divisions will receive:

1 Case of Transmission Fluid

Hard Chargers of both divisions will receive:

1 Case 20w50 Extreme Racing Oil

Butch says that Extreme Brand Products have been in Drag Racing for years. now they are reaching into the Dirt Track side of things...The Awards are just a good way to Give Back and to get our Products out there,,, and What Better place to get your Name out there,,,than FALS

Butch will be in the Pits at FALS, look him up for any questions you might have,,and for All your Heavy Duty Oil and Big Truck needs too..

A Big Thanks to Matt Curl and Butch Price for stepping up to help racers do what they love to do,,, and that's Race...

Making my first trip to Farmer City, Fairbury, & Spoon River this weekend. I'm thinking about staying in Bloomington Friday & Saturday prior to heading to Spoon, any thoughts on this good or bad?

Making my first trip to Farmer City, Fairbury, & Spoon River this weekend. I'm thinking about staying in Bloomington Friday & Saturday prior to heading to Spoon, any thoughts on this good or bad?Don't have much for you in bloomington other than there's a good burger place called meatheads. Farmer city is a real old school feel you pay when you pull in the parking lot and then you will be lucky to see another track worker the rest of the night lol Good place to bring your own cooler along with you. I would highly recommend sitting on the front stretch at farmer. One of my other favorite things to do at FC is get a pit pass and stand in turn 3 right along the fence very very cool view. The backstretch there feels like you are watching on TV. As far as FALS try to get on backstretch there and don't be afraid to bring your own mug with you of your favorite beverage. The spoon is in a dry county but I believe they let you bring a cooler in for a price. Honestly you should really enjoy yourself with these 3 tracks. I will be hitting FC friday and FALS Saturday.

I'm thinking about staying in Bloomington Friday & Saturday prior to heading to Spoon, any thoughts on this good or bad?Bloomington Normal is where you want to stay. One of the hotels in Normal on Ft Jesse near Walmart is the “official” hotel for FALS events. I cant remember which one it is. It might be a little extra drive if you are doing both nights at FC. You might look at something on S Veterans Pkwy for tonight if you are doing that. There is a great place in Lexington called Kemps Upper Tap if you have time for lunch on Saturday. They have seating outside under a huge tent right now. Great food and great craft beer selection if that is your thing.Let me know if you have any specific questions. You cant beat that 3 track swing. Spoon is a hidden gem when it comes to racing but the facilities aren’t that great. FALS/FC are my home tracks.

Thanks WisWildManFanlooking forward to it!no problem, i'm excited for you lol. The only thing that I don't like about FC and FALS is the distance from the stands to the track but sitting on the "right" side at each helps. Both pit stands located in turns 3 and 4 give you a really unique perspective and are much closer to the track. I do recommend goggles if you plan on doing that. I haven't been to spoon in years but it's very unique compared to most the 1/4 mile Illinois ovals. Kind of a cross between eldora/lernerville in my opinion.

I've talked to Doubletree in Bloomington, I'll call Hampton Inn as well. At this point I just have to click the button for Doubletree, apparently they have large parking area which I'll need. I'll be watching tonight on DOD and leaving in the morning.

FYI, if you don't have a reserved seat for Fairbury, you will not be allowed to sit on the backstretch. No general admission allowed on the backstretch.
