Greenville, MS. The Gumbo Nationals for Super Lates Friday night saw Neil Baggett win his first race of the 2020 season with Brian Rickman 2nd and Billy Moyer 3rd. The 30 lapper paid $4,000 to win and the main was run mostly right against the wall and a lot of right quarters and spoilers took a beating.

The $8,000 to win 50 lapper on Saturday saw a track with more places to run and Mr. Smooth, Billy Moyer, took his career 840th win. B. J. Robinson and Timothy Culp took turns leading most of it till Moyer showed his legendary skill in traffic near the end and nabbed the checker. Big attaboy to Billy.

The Gumbo Nationals is always a fun weekend. Lots of cars and some great racing. Worst part of the weekend came after the supers. The mods had a big crash on the last lap. 1 of the cars ended up on fire and with all the oil, water, and the chemical dumped on the track, they had to call the races. There was 2 classes that couldn't race and 1 car total loss from the fire. I hate that for everyone involved.
