Wonder if Clanton/Bruening team will come down. Gonna be awesome 3 weeks of racing with Wild Wing Shootout the next weekend!!!

The $25k to win announcement seems like it would warrant more a response than the lone post above??? I have been to every WWSO (and all other iterations) since it's inception and I personally think the growth over the years is a huge success story. It's been fun to watch and be a part of.

Want to make sure before paying 150

There's no discount, but if you buy the six-day package, you get a complimentary one-night pit pass upgrade (night of your choice) and an event-branded seat cushion.

I can promise you that Johnny Stokes and his team are going to do everything possible to give them the best track possible. And we hope that the tire rule will help guys move around and run different lines. One thing is certain we are trying to make this event bigger and better every single year. The behind the scenes work put into it rivals anything I have ever seen. 8 out of 12 months in a year there is work happening for the event. I am blessed to be a small part of it all.

Oh and add Donny Schatz all 6 nights in his Late Model.

You are battling tire issues and issues native to the cars themselves. Usually, it's still a pretty good show.

Looking at it on an actual schedule. That's alot. Basically 4 days in between the finale in Arizona and the start of speedweeks in Georgia that's like 11 events in 12 or 13 days I believe. They are about 2100 miles apart.

dirtcrazy4u
12-05-2020, 05:29 AM
The logistics of this deal just doesn't seem to make it worthwhile. That's a lot of road miles and the possibilities of inclement weather getting there and back. Covid issues again will be changing things in early 2021 especially with new government coming in. The president elect has all ready said, his first 100 days ALL people will be required to have masks on.

There's a lot of planning going on by a lot of people. It can all be rendered useless come the first of the year. I sure hope not but I expect government to rear the ugly side of political agendas come the new year.

Sure hope they get a plan in place for this vaccine sooner than later.

Not surprised at all w/ the Thornton announcement... it's a great opportunity to shake down a new chassis and dial some things in before the Lucas season officially starts. And... it's his home state! Would have been very surprised if he wasn't here. Only a few weeks away, hoping the no one gets over zealous with Covid mandates
