As we have seen, Eldora has been under some tough restrictions this year. That track, more than the others, needs fans in the stands for a truck race. There's no guarantee things will be better come July. Probably smart on their part to pass this coming year and hope to bring it back in 2022.

Don’t disagree that it was boring. But was hopeful it might introduce a few more fans to dirt racing. Seeing the truck race and then watching super late model or modifieds run it should raise the excitement level ten fold. Oh well.

Consequence of tony's new SRX series for sure, NASCAR doesn't play well with others with ideas contrary to the organization. Just ask Curtis Turner what happened when he tried to organize a drivers union

The trucks will be in Bristol on dirt. Announced today. Infinity Series will not be at Bristol in the spring. The reason given was the truck series were already set up $$ wise for dirt because of Eldora. They said they didn’t want to add the extra expense to the Infinity teams.

Article from Bristol Speedway can be found on Kingsport Times News (Tennessee)
Also: they talked about having some type of race for the “local” dirt racers while the dirt was on the track. It stated the WOO had taken the TBA date off their website. Many were speculating this would be for Bristol.

Yea I gotta think this may have had a little to do with tony's srx deal. Tony has in the past made his feelings known concerning nascrap. I just recently saw some info that Tony did want kyle larson at TSR racing. Ford said no way. That really stinks

Sticking a vehicle that handles that poorly on dirt wasn't very exciting anyway. The only thing that made itwatchable was the stellar production value.

The trucks at eldora are terrible an the race at Bristol will be that bad or worse eldora would be a lot better off just running another sprint race.

No loss. That race was awful every year. Like watching paint dry with how slow they were going. Stay on pavement where you belong with those heavy, terribly handling trucks/cars. Leave the dirt racing to the pros in Lates, Mods, Sprints, and Midgets.
