Dargie Racing Engines 430 Chevy engine, KB alky carburetor and spacer, Beyea tri-y spread port headers with mufflers, case of Amsoil engine oil, extra NGK spark plugs (new), and several K&N air cleaners with base. Asking $9,000.
Engine was last rebuilt with brand new Compstar crank and rods, JE Pistons, Comp Cam camshaft, Manley intake and exhaust valves, ISKY valve springs, and valve seats, bearings, pushrods, and rings, etc. Only items not replaced in the build were the Champ oil pan, Melling oil pump, T&D rocker arms, Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, AllPro head castings, and Dart Little M block. The heads are AllPro 23 degree ACSC 360 legal and CNC ported. Engine dyno’d with 750 HP with very wide torque curve (larger throw on the crank). Engine has 750 laps since the build and has always had Amsoil oil and Wix filters. All oil filters are available to inspect for bearing wear through life of the engine since the last rebuild. Engine oil and filter was changed every 80-100 laps. Engine cylinders were fogged each offseason with Marvel Mystery oil.
KB carburetor was last rebuilt about 15-20 races ago and has always been winterized by flushing with gasoline and stored fogged with Marvel Mystery oil to maintain seals and soft goods.
Beyea headers are 750 laps old like the engine and are built for 18-23 degree motors on Rocket chassis. Header flange is shaped to match the heads. Mufflers are by Beyea.
