O'Neil did the same pass twice and it was effective. A slider up in front of the other car that goes to the cushion, then cut across the track to the bottom of the next corner to kill the crossover momentum.

I would have cancelled last nights show. Ran a longer feature for Friday night and paid a higher purse. Gave passing points in heats plus finishing order in Friday's feature to lock in top 16 for the Show Me 100. Everyone else run B-Mains.

Not according to Hudson Oneal in his interview after the first feature. Stated how much he preferred the Friday double set up to running a day race on Saturday.

I was at Wheatland last night and the Mod feature after the first LM feature was over was dam good. The second LM program was much better. I'm glad they ran both programs Friday night. How wants a stinking day race?
