They qualified that night, and that was it. Kept the fans up til 2am, and called it. I seen some comments saying Schatz was losing his mind after he qualified that saying the track was too dangerous. Several of the non wing guys that were there, we're willing to race that night. The outlaws claimed they couldn't get the bottom of the track ran in. I wasnt there, so I can't comment on how track actually looked. They ran it the next afternoon.

I wouldn't laugh. He started last in his heat race in 2018. Finished 3rd. Started 15th in the Dream feature and was leading 36 laps in before waxing the field the rest of the way. And that was after going to the E.R...
