Shock Mount Drop?

Whats your opinion on shock drop, mounting on the BC, distance from CL?

Some i talk to say all the way down is the most traction etc etc, but i don't usually accept that answer.

What all does it influence? Shaft speed, load speed, and timing.

Just a general question, trying to learn more.

Shock speed and load curve is pretty much it. You can keep the same distance, but rotate it around the axle and change those same things. I don't think there is any magic number. It's more about getting the load curve right, and many things affect that.
