Drake Troutman Bags Another Two-Win Weekend
Roaring Knob and The Greater Cumberland Raceway Up Next

HYNDMAN, Pa. (06/22/21) – Drake Troutman outran Mother Nature to record two more triumphs over the weekend as his season win total climbed to 15.

Both victories came aboard Troutman’s trusty Smith Transport / RFI Resources No. 7 MB Customs Race Car / Lasalle Racing Engine Modified.

“It was yet another weekend where our plans got scrapped by rain. Weather wise our two best options ended up being Roaring Knob and Elkins. We went into the weekend with testing and seat time on our minds, but everything worked out and we were able to also grab two wins,” Troutman shared. “This coming weekend we have our sights set on a pair of good paying events at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex and Greater Cumberland Raceway. I hope a lot of racers and fans get behind these events.”

With the Renegades of Dirt Modified doubleheader weekend rained out, Drake Troutman trekked to Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex (Markleysburg, Pa.) on Friday afternoon to get a test session behind the wheel of his MB Customs No. 7 Modified. With a heat race victory placing him third on the starting grid for the feature, Troutman soared to his 14th win of the season.

The following night at Elkins Raceway (Kerens, W.Va.), Drake topped the charts in time trials before picking up a heat race win. Receiving the sixth-starting position for the main event via the invert, Troutman outdueled Phil Jeffries in the 25-lapper to capture his second win in as many nights and 15th of the season. He took the checkers ahead of Jeffries, Jamie McCloud, Gary Dalton, and Matthew Chenoweth.
