What is the best tire prep guys are using these days to try maintaining tire life throughout a race. For racetracks that typically run a 1300 and destroy them but a 1325,1350,1425 just won’t work at. Have tried numerous ways of grooving/siping

In my experience, one of those others will work. You have to cut it to get the tire to operate at the correct temperature.

A tire has to wear too. Heat and no wear leaves a glaze when it cools down. You have to wear the bad rubber off.

Imo, prep is way overrated unless you are forced to run a super hard tire. I've never been proven it was faster on a back to back test.

Racers are victimized by hucksters every day for gadgets and gimmicks that often defy laws of physics or common sense.

cart guys are the smart ones on this, but don't get caught lolYes rule of thumb if your racing against someone who was successful in carts. He's cheating tires! Lol

The tire prep rules really annoy me. I was able to get an additional 4 nights with this on plastic hockey puck tires.
For $75, I can nearly cut the tire bill in half.
