With the talent and money he should be running with the big boys. My opinion.I am going to be very polite but also get to my point... You didn't mention (conveniently?) Wenger and English both being SN regulars along with Shirley. All three are in quality equipment. Billy Moyer Jr. was on tour until bad finishes caused him to drop off. Devin Moran ran the entire first week. Heckenast, Feger, McGrath are all very solid and capable of contending for wins while being series regulars. I know Heckenast missed a few races early, but he is planning to get to 31 races for the final points. Throw in guys that race a lot on tour like Babb, Spatola, Sheppard, Dennis Erb, Gundaker, and the Simpson brothers. I am sure I am forgetting a few people too. Seems to me that is not cherry picking...

You couldn’t be more wrong. The Bobby you see on social media is the real Bobby. There isn’t a more polite or humble driver in the sport. No other driver even compares with Bobby in dealing with kids — which is the most important thing in regards to the future of DLM racing. You’re referring to one of those heat of the moment deals when some idiot from the stands was trashing him. All drivers have had those moments.

In the number of races that I have watched him compete in this year it seems like he is driving with a more maturity. Whether you are a fan or not, it doesn't matter.
Yes, he's a top 10 driver Nationally.
He's definitely not done enough to earn top 5.
This year that is obviously T-Mac, JD, Overton, Hudson, and B-Shepp.

Sure Bobby has 11 wins. Going into Summernationals he only had 4 wins.
We all knew the writing on the wall once Bobby committed to the "He'll Tour" lol.
There are currently 5 drivers following the tour full time.
Bobby, Feger, English, Winger, and Shirley.
Babb, B-Shepp, Hechenast, BMJ, Gundaker, Unzicker make appearances here and there.
There's nothing special about these victories. They are all Midwest tracks that Bobby knows like the back of his hand.
He has 1 victory this year outside the Midwest. Florida, back in January.
The biggest knock on Bobby has always been he can't consistently stay successful when venturing outside the Midwest.
Bobby has won some Crown Jewels for sure. However, he has never been able to put together a full year of big-time wins.
If he ever proves down the road that he can hang an entire year with the National tour guys, then we can talk about him being a top 5 driver.
Until then, he will continue to rack up a ton of Summernationals victories each year, and sprinkle in a crown jewel from time to time.
That's what a top 10 driver's resume looks like.
