Seawright took the lead near halfway and held on for his first SoNats win

The kid popped up on my radar at a couple of shows earlier this season and figured he was someone to keep an eye on. He certainly wasn't bashful about going through the teeth rattling ruts at Boyd's last night. Possible star of the future if things work out for him.

Is it normal for Boyd's to be that rough? Imagine they'll fill a few buckets with nuts, bolts and rivets when they redo the track after that show. Surprised several cars didn't fall out with busted stuff or that there weren't a ton of wrecks with cars bouncing into each other. Very nice facility though.

Mark Herndon,the former drummer for Alabama,is/was Seawright's stepdad. I thought I spotted him in the post race video,but can't confirm.

Pretty cool factoid…..I like the 16, he’s got some good composure and will drive it anywhere on the track.
