Austin Horton Double Dips in Senoia Victory Lane
Senoia and Talladega Next on the Schedule

NEWNAN, Ga. (08/10/21) – Another race night and two more 2021 victories for Austin Horton. That was the case on Saturday night at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway, where Horton raced to the $3,000 winner’s payday in the Vision Wheel Topless Outlaw Series feature and also picked up the night’s Crate Late Model victory.

The victories pushed his 2021-win total to 13 in his Orr’s Trucking No. 16 Super K Express/ Horton Flyer/ XR1 Rocket Chassis entry.

“My team and sponsors never quit and worked their tails off to get both cars ready, even after blowing a motor on Thursday. I’ve got to give a huge shoutout to Rucker Orr for supply me with his personal motor so that I could race on Saturday,” Horton commented. “Thank you to everyone, who pitched in. Glad we could win both the Crate Late Model and Limited Late Model features, and I’m hoping we can keep the ball rolling and stay up front.”

Despite blowing a motor on Thursday, Austin Horton was in action on Saturday night at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) with Rucker Orr’s powerplant underneath the hood of his No. 16 entry for the Vision Wheel Topless Outlaw Series sanctioned contest. In a field of 27 cars, Horton topped the charts in time trials which positioned him on the pole for the feature. Breaking Ronnie Johnson’s four-race win streak with the series, Austin soared to his 12th win of the season, which came over Johnson, Chase King, Jordy Nipper, and Oliver Gentry. He earned $3,000 for his triumph.

In the Crate Late Model ranks, Austin bested the 25-car field in qualifying before capturing his second victory of the night by more than a three-second margin in the feature. He took the checkers ahead of Blant Duke, Ricky Culpepper, Tanner Collins, and Chase Baker as his 2021-win tally grew to 13.
