I'm glad to hear that. The issues a lot of us are having are with the legacy subscriptions. I figured out a way around it though. A buddy of mine was having the same problem. When I got around it, I called him and told him what i did and it worked for him too.

If anyone that has a legacy subscription ($59/annual) is still having problems, let me know and I will guide you through how to get around MavTV's F'd up issues.

I was not happy with the beginning of the MavTV Plus deal but the last few weeks it has been working absolutely perfect so I must give them credit. I think at first they had a bad shock, broken J-Bar, bent birdcage, a burnt valve and a bad MSD box. But now it's running good.

hehe For me it works perfectly via apps on my phone and Roku(haven't tried it on Firestick) but I can't even login on the website either via Chrome or Edge. The page just times out on me. Sucks because tonight I have Knoxville on the big screen and wanted to watch Florence on my laptop, but no go.

I'm a legacy subscriber too and I still ain't interested in giving up that $59 a year. I don't think anyone is, but if they are, I wouldn't give them that rate again if they cancel over it.

I've gotten a couple of PMs, so in case others need it, here is what you can try. It worked for me.

First, go to the old https://lucasoilracing.tv/. Click the link to take you to MavTV Plus. Once there, try to log in. You should be able to do so. After logging in, select the "reset password" on the right. You'll get an email with a link that says " you can reset your password Here". Right click on "Here" and copy the link. Paste the link into your browser. It will ask you to reset your password. Do so. The problem should be solved now.

I am doing this from memory, but I think I got all the steps in there. I know it sounds silly copying and pasting links from emails rather than clicking on them and having to go to the old LucasTV site, but that's what I did to get logged in when in the past it would time out. And once you log in, even though you may have reset your password in the past, you have to do it again. I believe the reason is because the idiots that were migrating the data, point from the old Lucas site to a log in for legacy subscribers. But when you directly from MavTVPlus to log in, it takes to you a spot for people that don't have a legacy account. It's some variation of that issue. I think they were having so many problems that they just started over wiping out all of us that did the password changes in the past.

I'd share this with MavTV, but they p1ssed me off, so screw 'em. They can figure it out on their own.

The problem has been in the changeover from Lucas Oil TV to MavTV Plus. Took a while for they got mine fixed.

I have a yearly subscription and when I first tried logging in about a month ago I had problems. I submitted a request and they fixed it for me and I'was able to login but, then Saturday I was trying to watch the North South 100 and it said access denied and that I needed a yearly subscription which I have always had. I sent another request and tried it again about a 1/2 hour later and was then able to watch the race. The first request I submitted I got an email but, the second one I didn't so, I don't know if someone fixed it or if there was just a glitch that got sorted out on it's own.

I have no complaints because my issues have been fixed

People that have a PC don't need a Roku, Firestick or even a Smart TV to watch streaming services. They run a cable between their PC and the TV. They don't have to pay $30/mo for a load of crap they don't want anyway.

I have a 32in TV as my monitor for my PC and it works pretty good for me.

Although I have long enjoyed Roku's devices, I sometimes use the laptop for a variety of reasons. But no need for cables. Just 'Windows Key +P', click the link to browse for monitors on your wifi and grab the roku or TV. Windows 10 uses Miracast which will work with most smart TVs and devices.

A Roku or Firestick is a one-time purchase for as low as $25. Download whatever app you want and watch (no recurring fees other than what you are already paying for like Dirtvision, Flo, HBO, Netflix, whatever). The problem lately has been the fact that users can't login via their computer. Roku, AppleTV, Firestick all work fine with no issues since they switched and got the logins worked out. PC however still has issues with logging in though I just reset my password once again and it let me login. Now of course I will have to re-login via Roku, Firestick, etc.

For me it's not a big deal but there are many users out there who don't have the techno ability or patience to adapt to each change made. I can sympathise with their frustration. A Roku, etc simplifies the whole process and frees up a PC to use for yet another race being streamed and just works (currently). Like someone else said above, I think they have people working in areas they don't have quite the expertise needed. While their support has been excellent for me (responses within minutes), others haven't had that luxury.

Many reasons. Some don't even HAVE a TV! ;) Or they don't want to spend more money for a streaming device (not all smart TV's have the ability to use dirt streaming apps or even a basic web browser). But also in addition to a TV, you can use a PC for other races being streamed. And people aren't always at home when a race is going on. A PC comes in handy while at a track or traveling down the road (as a passenger of course). Plus there isn't an app for Windows PC's.

For any of you having issues timing out when trying to log in, I believe I found the issue. If you try to use https://mavtvplus.com/ vs https://WWW.mavtvplus.com/ that should fix the issue. Don't ask me why, but as I referenced above, I was able to log in when first going to the old Lucas site which redirects you to https://mavtvplus.com/ WITHOUT the WWW.

I'll tell ya, the people that handled setting that website up are completely clueless. I won't go into a long technical explanation of why that is totally F'd up, but that is like Domain name 101 stuff. They never set up the www level domain. You might be able to get around it by clearing your cookies, but I haven't tested that yet.

This won't fix the issue with Legacy annual subscriptions, but it will fix the timeout issues. Hope someone finds that helpful.

Same here TD, the problem is when its a yearly only event like the Topless was and this Saturday night is. Im a legacy member from the start but when its yearly only it denies me access saying Im not yearly. I use a laptop as well

No, I'm saying it worked tonight. If you pay attention to my posts, it's the same thing as CrankedUp90, it didn't work last week when it was a yearly subscriber show. So yeah, it's still f'ed up.

We'll see if they have indeed got it worked out come Saturday. Anyone using an app, whether it's via Roku, Firestick, XBOX or mobile, it works just fine once you get the password reset done. Like I said above though, fortunately it isn't an issue for me since I only use the laptop as an extra screen while watching other events.
