Austin Horton Registers 15th Feature Triumph of 2021 Season
Sights Set on Mike Head Jr. Memorial this Saturday at Senoia
NEWNAN, Ga. (08/25/21) – Austin Horton claimed his 15th victory of the season on Saturday night with a winning performance at Senoia Raceway aboard his Orr’s Trucking No. 16 Super K Express/ Horton Flyer/ XR1 Rocket Chassis Limited Late Model.
“It was another flawless night for our team. We earned the pole for the feature and then led the rest of the way to score the victory and add some points to our lead in the Limited Late Model track points,” Horton said. “We’re looking forward to going after the big win with the Southern All Stars this Saturday at Senoia (Raceway).
Saturday night found Austin Horton in action at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.), where he entered his Franklin Enterprises No. 16 Limited Late Model into battle. With preliminary events placing him on the pole for the feature, Horton won by more than a three-second margin in the 25-lapper, which came over Kenny Collins, Denis Hale, Landon Bagby, and Marty Lunsford.
The victory was his 15th of the 2021 campaign and allowed him to extend his advantage atop the series standings.

Horton returns to Senoia Raceway this Saturday, August 28 for the annual Mike Head Jr. Memorial. The Southern All Star (SAS) Dirt Racing Series event posts a $5,054 top prize for the winner of the 54-lap finae.
