Nobody knows yet. If they did it would be posted from Lucas or the speedway. With that being said, it don’t look good for today.

Inmates running the asylum. "I can't race Monday, Eldora is Wednesday".

Lucas has done a bad job at managing events such as the hillbilly, topless, Jackson etc. they’ve lost their luster, simply because Lucas has treated them like any other ordinary 10k to win sanctioned event. There’s no reason this race couldn’t have been ran tomorrow. I miss the unsanctioned event days.

You said it best.

I can't quote you, but yes, Lucas has ruined events like this one. Fans deserve to see a race, if it's physically possible to put it on.

I'm sure the pits are a (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) swamp with all the rain they got.

Deer creek. Tri City and Macon (unless that wasn't on Lucas)

The pits and the parking lot would be a mess, not to mention the storms and fog developing this evening. It just wasn't meant to be.

Word on the street was it was dead yesterday, if it had to be moved to Monday. That is the real issue.

The fairgrounds at Tyler are big enough to have the pits in the general parking lot like they’ve done many times before. They even did it for the hillbilly that Ray Cook won.

I am in no way blaming TCS. I know they wanted to race.

Like Masters said above, the rain date for the hillbilly has always been Labor Day Monday. They could race tomorrow, certain parties didn’t want to.

These 4 day Eldora deals have put a damper on a few races this year. I got the vibe walking around and talking to a few guys last night that no one was looking forward to Tyler today, everybody was talking about Eldora. As much as I am a fan of Eldora, I don't like seeing it mess with the hillbilly in the way that it has.

Nobody was loaded last night after the mod features was finished. The writing was pretty much on the wall last night that nobody wanted to chance driving to Tyler knowing the outcome.

Don’t forget TST and 411 with the “fuel shortages”.

I didn't include those because I wasn't 100% sure if that was a legitimate reason to or not.

Would have been a nice day to watch a race at a cool bullring.

Had they run it today I guarantee it would have been a daytime race and everybody would be complaining about how terrible it was. I'd rather see a nighttime Hillbilly in April. An early season one day $30k race sounds like a much better idea to me and it will probably draw more cars with Eldora not being on its heels.

It will be cold and rainy. The folks of WV haven't had their race for 2 years.

First week of April. What’s the chances that race actually happens? 25%?

It rains 10 days a month that time of year. It's not good odds.
