Yep Jimmy was partially ejected when the shoulder harness failed he passed of head and upper body injuries this should be a wake up call to all drivers to check their safety equipment. He flipped several times. and this was in a front wheel drive car.

How does a car have a shoulder harness fail on pretty much opening night? Isn't safety the first thing that tech should be looking at when the season starts? Shame.

my condolences to the family..

A-alot of those front wheel drive cars are rolling death traps.
I have seen some very well built ones, and many that should never be allowed on the racetrack.
Not saying that is what happened here, just sayin'.
