The 11th Annual Merrill Downey Memorial, presented by Tempstar Heating & Cooling Products, is set for Saturday, July 2nd at the Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Ind. The event honoring the former sportsman and late model track champion is one of the larger modified purses in the Midwest boasting a feature payout of more than $23,000!
The KOI Auto Parts UMP Modifieds will be racing for $5,444 to win, $3,044 for second place, $2,044 for third place, and $444 to start the 24-car 44-lap feature.
Additional prizes include $1,000 to the Slick Mover of the Feature (hard charger), $44 for each feature lap led, $100 to the Fastest Qualifier in each group, $100 to the Best Appearing Car, and much more!
