Howard Moore Banks $2,500 USCS Sprint Car Win at Riverside
Trick-Or-Treat Nationals Next Up on Oct. 29

Memphis, Tennessee (10/10/22) – Howard Moore enjoyed a great weekend at Riverside International Speedway aboard his Rains Motorsports No. 3 Mike's Pool Care / High-Performance Lubricants JR-1 Sprint Car.

Moore captured a win and a fifth-place finish in Saturday night’s Flip/Flop 50 finale in United Sprint Car Series (USCS) Outlaw Thunder Tour competition.

“We had a great weekend at our home track. A strong field of 40 drivers were on hand, and my team gave me a great car on Friday night, which put us in position to be a contender on Saturday night. I finished fifth in the first feature, which put us starting fourth in the second feature. I got to the lead on lap 2 and never looked back,” Moore commented. “I’m grateful to get to drive for this team and to have so many awesome people who support us each-and-every night. This win is dedicated to them.”

Howard Moore returned to his home track over the weekend with a trip to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Ark.) for the 2022 edition of the Flip/Flop 50 with the United Sprint Car Series (USCS) Outlaw Sprint Cars.

Forty drivers converged on the 1/4-mile oval, and Friday night found the field divided into heat races via the pill draw. A fourth-to-second run in his heat race locked him into the tenth-starting spot for Saturday's first $2,500-to-win feature.

Howard raced his way to a fifth-place finish behind Derek Hagar, Cody Gardner, Gavan Boschele, and Dale Howard in the night's opening feature.

For the second feature Moore lined up fourth on the starting grid via his performance in the first main event.

Charging to the lead on the second lap, Howard raced to the victory, which marked his second triumph of the 2022 season. He was followed across the finish line by Landon Crawley, Gavan Boschele, Dale Howard, and Cody Gardner.
