With track building for this year’s event officially underway, let’s get some predictions. Predictions can be anything from how the track holds up, to how many rollovers there are, to how the racing is, to whether or not Tyler Carpenter races in HeyDudes, and anything in between…let’s hear ‘em.

It will be the usual S. hit show. It’s too small of a track for late models and mods. StL is my home town, and I hate to say it, but it’s kind of a joke. Now….the midgets?…that’s a different story. The whole thing is a good idea on paper….racing inside in winter, but like I said…it’s a 45 mph demo derby and not much of a race.

Predictions:
1. The drama will be manufactured by people with microphones, because the racing wont do it itself.
2. Shannon Babb loses 2 spoilers over the course of the weekend.
3. 1 of the B-Mains will be the best race of the weekend.
4. Brandon Sheppard gets a win with the new team.
5. 1st race of the year where aero/dirty air doesn't determine the winner.... maybe.
6. I wake up Sunday thinking "I can't believe I wasted money to watch that sh!t." haha

Here's a few I'll throw out there.
5 flips, 9 cars finish LM main event on Saturday night, RTJ makes sure that Carpenter does not win it again this year after drama between the two there in the past. Bloomquist will spend more time at the casino than at the track.

Lots of bent up metal and flaring tempers. Tyler Carpenter will sell out of shirts again.

People can complain all they want about this race. This is the only race we have all year that literally anyone that makes the main has a shot at winning, wedge bodies and 60k 910hp wide bore engines don't matter for once. We should be happy about it, especially since we all complain about something needs to be done with the bodies.

Tyler Carpenter wins again.

The law of averages says otherwise. As wide open a event that it is, I'm really surprised someone won it back to back.
If I had to make a wild guess,I'd probably pick Babb.

It's just a real sorry 45 mph race with a lot of tore up race cars I'm just amazed that people go to watch it.

Don’t under estimate his insane redraw luck, and his ability to make his car as wide as humanly possible

It shouldn't amaze you that people go watch, people like action and it isn't their $$$ getting tore up. The ones who should amaze you are the drivers/ car owners that enter this event with the high probability of getting tore up..

OR, maybe it doesn't tear up near as much as people think?!?!?!

I predict the least fans they've had in the event's history this year. Inflation has taken a serious bite out of most people's entertainment budgets.

Unless St Louis has something else going on I doubt fan base will be lower. As hotels are sold out more than previous years plus more expensive.

A lot of racers bring an older or less favorite car to the event.
