39 wins another championship. 49 struggles with new crew. 99 is fast, but fades in long races. 46 comes out of florida with the points lead. 40 finishes top 5 in points. 1 tears up a lot of sheetmetal, some wonder if it's BP driving it. 20T racks up big wins at eldora. The rest of them, a top 5 is a accomplishment.

In all of SLM racing I will say Davenport, B Shepp and Chris Madden will win the most races. Bobby Pierce will win a lot in the upper Midwest

Lolmds points

1) McCreadie
2) O'Neal
3) Thornton
4) Davenport - Davenport knocks the rf spindle off it in the DTWC while leading and passing a lapper

O'Neal wins the most races on tour.
Davenport is much less consistent than he was in 21 and 22.

Can’t believe you left B. Overton off that list. You’re usually always drooling about “Big Sexy” as you always refer to him as.

I predict Davenport will win the most with championship going to him or McCredie.

I like Big Sexy. He might just be the sleeper in 2023

JD, McCreadie, Huddy, RT final four. JD wins because he’s so good at Eldora. Kyle Bronson surprises people winning 4-5 Lucas races but misses the final cut.

Tmac wins title

Wilson wins a race.

That's all I'm going with

RTJ was impressive last season. Without the Florida points, he would have finished second. They guy is a hard charger, and with some better qualifying and starting up front, he'll be a threat.

A lot of people were saying terbo is switching to horns, but Randal posted they had 2xr1s about to go in the box and headed to the desert

Yea I think Erb, B Shep and others still have there cars from last year sitting there. It's not that the cars are not fast, JD, Overton and T-mac are the guys that carry the horn banner. If aNY other chassis wins the bigger shows this year everyone will be asking what's up with there horns ?

Pennsboro32

Terbo already tried the longhorn experiment.

Are some teams like Chris Madden making substantial changes to their chassis? They have an XR1 but with changes is it really an XR1 at the end of the day? School me? Thanks

I’m probably in the minority, but I wish they’d just merge and have Major League Late Models and get it over with. No way local racers can run at this level. That’s long over with. Let MARS or one of the other semi big outfits be the minor league racing for the up and comers.

You still have small time folks win some. For example Ross Bailes.

Ross Bailes isn’t small time. They’re talking local weekend warriors, those guys don’t stand a chance with the big boys.

I'm thinking this is going to be a big year for RTJ. He's having a great Tulsa Shootout by the way.

Predicting anything in SLM is too tough, but it's hard to pick against JD, so I'll go JD, RTJ, TMac and Huddy.

I've been saying that for years now. These jerks from woo and Lucas call every regional series in the country and try to talk the into adopting the new rules they dream up every winter. The majority of racers have no interest in running Lucas or buying the new stuff required to fit in the new box they drew.

RTJ is good but he will not be getting more than a couple big wins at the most in SLM racing in 2023

Considering those 4 teams spend more money than the rest of the whole remaining dirt late model world, they better make some noise.

I had Huddy in the top 4. Overton was the one I had on the outside looking in. Nothing against Overton. I'm a fan. But going into the season I figured T-Mac had the pedigree.

You almost had it right just the wrong driver. It looks RTJ is filling them shoes this year.
