If Wylie came to Florida and took over tires and/or setup send him back. Every year the 99/9/99 proves he is just an average driver. I used to think he is just good on equipment but starting to realize more and more he just isn't a winner... doesn't have the "get to the front" mentality. No balls. Get on the wheel or go home!!!! Must be hard for Roger to watch.

He won and went to crap. He struggled mightily the entire year. Honestly compare him to hud, rtj, bobby, winger, Wilson, etc. They continue to progress. It is like he has topped out. Question- was Wylie here at Volusia a few weeks ago??? Has he been here since??? Now compare. Just saying he is mediocre. At the end of the day he is soft. Like that halftime coach that cannot adjust and gets smacked around. It is a shame because he has the talent. Just appears to lack will.

Believe it or not, I'm just a very big fan. I guess it is personal when you travel all across the country and you have high expectations just to be let down. My wife even laughs at me because I won't give up on him as a driver. She says just pick another. Well it's not that simple. When his dad quit I pretty much quit following the sport except for I read every article and watched all the highlights I could, but as far as going to attract that stopped. He is the only lake that I have keeping me interested in this sport. Anyway, this was not about Wylie, per se, unless it is about Wiley. I just don't understand how he can mess up in the heat race which is no big deal. Fall to fifth start deep in the future and not advance. It happens time and time again. Which, seems to be the same as last year. If you want to use that analogy. He started off hot and couldn't get out of his own way. I just don't understand any other driver that starts in the back. You know they're going to come forward. Whether it's T-Mac any of the good ones, I mean I could list driver after driver. Anyway, I was totally bssing about my net worth and all that. But I don't wear a 5X you fat f*** I have obsessively watched the sport since the '70s and everything else. The only thing that I did to fib about was my net worth. It's probably closer to half that. And whichever one of you f****** idiots thought that I wanted them to see. This couldn't be further from the truth. I was just bending and wanting some feedback on why people thought that he does fall off and he can't move to the front if he starts in the back. Ever.

I am a big Moran fan I rooted for his dad and try to watch every race Devin runs. I do agree with some of what hotpipes said. He has not been very good since the 1st 2 races and he does not seem to ever come from the back to the front. I root for him every time out and will continue to but I sure hope he figures things out like the rest of the guys in Longhorns.

PS I wonder if Rumley and all of the longhorn guys help Devin like they Do tmac, Davenport & Thornton

Thank you. I just know Wylie wasn't here for the first two races. He has very, very rarely been able to advance when starting in the back. I thought forever it was a money deal and maybe it is but is that necessary now??? Hud was in it last lol.
To respond to the ps- i really doubt they do to the same extent. If they have a 15th place car they run top ten and with that comes "finding something". I will continue to root as well but it'd be nice to see him again consistency.

I wish i could do what they are doing. They don't give a rats azz who you are. They are doing their thing. I have meet a lot of drivers over the years and If you come up to them when their job is over at the end of the night, they may have a beer with you and enjoy your company. Couple driver i really got a lot of respect over the years is Jim Curry (always made time for his fan) Also Ken Srader, and couple years ago got to spend some time with Jimmy Owens (very likeable guy). There are a lot of great drivers out there. I really hate people who get on here and cut drivers down for some reason or other. Get out there and get to know them. You will have a lot more respect for them.

Can't like em all, man. But i wholeheartedly agree. Everybody wants the NASCAR of the 70s and 80s. Bloomer was the best. Just my first memory of bloomquist was him pulling off if not running up front. Pennsboro and wvms days.
