Reserved and Overflow Camping
All camping traffic must come down First Street, from the north, off Route 24.
Reservations #1 - 225 must enter First Street main entrance (Gate 1)
Camping reservations #250 - 285 must enter the camping lot to the north of the school.

• Reserved camping is SOLD OUT for the weekend. However, if you are camping and do not have reservations, there will be an overflow lot off site (across the street from the track).
• Overflow camping (first come, first serve) will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26th. All overflow camping will enter at the south ballfield entrance only.
• Staging for overflow camping will not be allowed until 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26th. Any campers staging before that time will be asked to leave the property.
• Staging for campers and motorhomes is extremely limited. If the staging area is full, FALS has the right to ask anyone, at any time, to please find another place to stage until we open the gates at 11 a.m. There are plenty of parking lots around town to allow for that.
• Gate 1 (First Street entrance) will not close throughout the weekend and will be staffed. People entering or exiting the grounds that are a part of a camping spot must have their camping pass voucher to re-enter the grounds (NO EXCEPTIONS). Campers will be allocated ONE parking voucher per reservation.
• Each camping spot MUST have an RV/CAMPER on it. No camping spots will be allowed to house only a tent or car/van/truck/golf cart trailer (or anything else). Only RV/CAMPERS are allowed in the camping spots. Failure to obey these rules will result in FALS pulling your voucher.
• If you are not going to be able to make the event and you have a reserved camping spot, please let our team know. Failure to notify us will result in loss of your reserved spot for 2024. Please email falstickets@gmail.com.
• Campers that bring golf cart trailers or other trailers for the weekend must put them on their camping spot. If they do not fit in your reserved camping space, you must find alternate parking arrangements for these items. These items will NOT be allowed to utilize car parking spots on the grounds. FALS has the right to tow/remove any unauthorized vehicles/trailers on the grounds at any time.

There will be around 60 camping spots available for the overflow lot. After our overflow lot is full, we will
direct you to the private camping lots listed below. If they are full by the time you arrive, you will have to find
alternative lodging. Please check online to look up area campgrounds if needed.
Please contact the below camping lots for additional information for overflow camping. We suggest securing your spot
prior to the PDC weekend.

Fairbury Speedway Announces Modified Teams for the 33rd Annual Prairie Dirt Classic

With a record number (82) entries submitted this year for consideration to race the prestigious Modified portion of the Prairie Dirt Classic, Fairbury Speedway officials have narrowed the list down to 64 drivers today. “It’s one of the hardest things I have to do as a promoter”, conveys Fairbury Speedway track owner Matt Curl. “Honestly it’s the only way we can keep the Modified's a part of the PDC with the high car count expected for the event and our tight pit area". "My team takes a lot of pride in putting this list together and although it is stacked, I know some teams will be disappointed they didn't make it and that hurts me".

Drivers from a record 12 states (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, New York, Missouri, Texas, Pennsylvania, and California) will lead one of the toughest Modified fields anywhere in the country for the Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals Finale.

The Prairie Dirt Classic presented by the Bank of Pontiac and the Illinois State Rifle Association, will open the doors for the 33rd time on Wednesday July 26th. Check out all the information about the PDC online at www.fairburyspeedway.com

All drivers that registered for the event will be getting an email soon with PDC event details or refund information. On behalf of the Fairbury Speedway, Thank You to all the drivers that sent in an entry in for the PDC.

Once Brownstown rained out. He’s on the Outlaw tour.

I was a FALS Saturday and he looked good. He and Myles Moos put in a show the first 10 laps or so. Once Bronson got by he was gone.

Unfortunatley check out the forecast below. Now it's not looking good tonight at 8:00 and after. Maybe it could stay north though?

They aren’t getting it in tonight unfortunately, unless the weather slows downs or breaks up more than predicted. Show for those who just paid for today what’s the plan? Have a make up before tomorrow event? Once Fridays makeup is done try to clear everyone out of Fenced in area’s?

Actually now it's not looking too bad yet, no rain close, they might get a part of it in.

Storms could develop out of nowhere, so far the radar is okay.

Now they might be able to sneak in a heat/feature race or two, just maybe. Be interesting to see if they do will they consider that a complete show for the night Friday or give Friday paying customers the same opportunity to come back Saturday and finish all of Fridays late model heats???

Whole lot of want a be meteorologists on here that need to hang on to their day job.I wouldn't dismiss old Buford Justice, after he was the one who stated that the storm area could stay north of the track in 1 post and it looks like they are going to run in another !

Really surprised to see Pennsylvania driver Michael Lake & Alabama driver Richie Stevens there. Like usual the PDC attracts some new drivers to the speedway each year. It’s cool to see different drivers give the track a chance and see what it takes to get a round the fast 1/4 mile bullring. With the rain that hit just after the last modified showdown feature the track will be juiced up tonight.

I'm really beginning to think The Weather Channel has went downhill on forecasting. Must be because the diversity and global warming agenda has become their main priority instead of knowledge and just forecasting the weather. Right now Accuweather show a bunch of storms around St.Louis and they appear to be going well south of Fairbury, so it looks good for tonight. Right now anyway.
