Kinzer Motorsports Set to Make Rare Needmore Visit After Sixth Place Area 51 Effort

(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and his Kinzer Motorsports team made the trek to 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee last weekend for the 4th edition of the 'Area 51' special. The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series sanctioned the event, which was pushed back a day to Sunday, July 16 due to inclement weather.

During the daytime affair, Brandon knocked down the third fastest lap overall during time trials before running second in his heat race. With a $5,100 top prize up for grabs in the 51-lap feature, BK started and finished in the sixth position behind only victor Blake Brown, Cole Falloway, Josh Harris, Adam Stricker, and Bryan Barber. Complete results from Sunday's annual 'Area 51' spectacular can be accessed online by visiting www.imopenwheel.net.

The #18 team will dip further south this weekend - July 21-22 - to compete in a doubleheader at Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia. The Modified Mafia tour will sanction a pair of lucrative races for the Open Wheel Modifieds at the Peach State venue. A $2,000 winner’s check will be on the line later tonight in the weekend opener, while a $3,000 payday awaits the victor of Saturday’s finale.
