Conley Motorsports, Inc. Tackles Atomic Speedway for World of Outlaws Weekend

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Rod Conley was in the pit area at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on September 22-23 to compete in a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series contests. Up first at the 1/4-mile, semi-banked oval on Friday night was the 'C.J. Rayburn Memorial,' which boasted a $10,000 payday. After finishing ninth in his loaded heat race and eighth in his B-Main, Rod unfortunately missed out on the 40-lap feature event that was ultimately won by Mike Marlar.

A standing-room-only crowd was then on hand at the fairgrounds venue on Saturday evening, as the 44th edition of the 'Jackson 100' was held and a $30,000 top prize awaited the winner. Rod grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his stacked heat race and later started fifteenth on the grid in the 100-lap headliner. The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace was then unfortunately an early retiree in the 'Jackson 100,' as the loss of brakes dropped him to a twenty-fourth place performance in the extra-distance affair. After taking last weekend off from racing action, R.J. Conley will join his brother Rod in competition at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio over the September 29-30 weekend. The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series has rolled into the Buckeye State oval to sanction a pair of lucrative throwdowns. Both drivers will vie for a $10,000 windfall later tonight, September 29, while a $15,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs in Saturday’s grand finale.
