I can think of two drivers that were lost after Rayburn chassis. Shannon Babb and Bill Schlieper.

Babb or Baba and Erb Jr. fell off since they ran Rayburn. Erb picked it up again at times with the BW's and the Bloomer cars but never was as competitive. He did grab a Dream and a WoO championship in a Rocket car...You are kind of keen about braggin on up bout dem scud missles. Tell us that you are one of " MARKS MINION " ? ? lol

He won his Lucas title in a Barry Wright.

Babb also won in rockets there for a few years.

Baba's problem in my opinion is he doesn't race enough.

Marriage and kids will do that. He's definitely slowed down.

You should note that, the rocket wins came before longhorn made the scene so not to offend Mr longhorn racer ready guy... LaughWell ; That there is yesterdays news. Those Team Zerocars may have their day in the sun before ya know it ! !

Erb's Dream was in a Black Diamond wasn't it? It was before he switched to Rocket. He's been at it a long time, but his highest accolades on the national scene at least have come post-Rayburn.

It my have been the BD Erb won the Dream with. Pretty sure it wasn't a BW. thought it was the rocket...

100% it was a Black Diamond.

Correct. I guess I worded that funny. I wasn't saying the champion was in a mastersbilt. I was only saying it was after being in a Rayburn.

His champ year really wasn't a big year. He was just consistent.

I have it right about bobby, he's a danger to others on the track. Simple as that...Maybe with all these teams switching around and having new equipment, there finally might be someone that can get close enough to have a little rubbin it on up with him ? ?

I have it right about bobby, he's a danger to others on the track. Simple as that...He is a danger all right ; a danger of putting a good clean beat down on the other drivers ! ! Just think; some day you will be a brag'in to the grandkids as to good he was ? ?

Babb dropped off, IMHO after he left Moyer's team and went to CBR(which is the kiss of death for many a talented wheel men). I believe they were in either Warriors or Rockets at that point, but before BWRC. I will say Dan Schleiper suffered the most after leaving Rayburn, even in the Zero cars and GRT he just couldn't find the magic, it was also after Carrera shocks was bought and killed off by QA1, Dan got his World 100, running Rayburn with Carrera's(I built them).
