I'm 60, but what I listen to and what I really like might surprise a few.

I really like Tool, A Perfect Circle, Stone Sour, Rob Zombie, Linkin Park, Sound Garden (I miss Chris Cornell), Highly Suspect, and just about any really good modern rock, good classic rock and alternative rock. Louder the better. My kids used to complain to their mom when I would play things too loud. Now they find things and say, "Dad, you gotta check this out." I think that the first two minutes of "Ruthless" by Non-Point should be played when dirt supers are coming on the track for a feature. Check it out.

I do like Classic Country but can't stand modern pop music Country. Country kinda lost me after the 90s.

I'm really quite open to a lot of things but I still stand by this. - Music is like candy. Really sweet once you toss out the (w)Rapper.

All over the place….Pink Floyd, rush, queen, supertramp,Molly hatchet and Atlanta rhythm section ,older genesis for old school standards on about every playlist.
Over the last few years on longer road trips etc I’ve found myself enjoying stuff a little different like Texas hillbilly coalition, godsmack and older Metallica (pre enter sandman).
Like Darius Rucker for a little lowcountry, like about all of rascal flats and anything Martina.

If there is a genre I don’t really care for it’s beach music….drifters,tams,etc.

I like a little bit of everything, but I listen to more metal and 90s hip hop than anything. In music I just want a nice groove that gets my head moving. There’s some of that in all the musical genres, but I find more in the two that I mentioned.

I'm stuck in the past except for "lounge music".

Nektar is still my favorite, to me the guitarist/singer of the band is "the Best", then the bass player, keyboard/mellotron, and drummer are all top notch also.

The guitarist makes most bands pale and seem bland in comparison. Turn up the volume and the Bass!!!!

Summer Breeze is not one of their better songs, they are an album group with some very good folk and blues influece. If you meant Seals and Crofts that is. The first albums are much better than their last ones. The Longest Road was the last of their greatest albums.
