Jeff Gay...... The 1.5" header would work fine for your 5800 rpm limit. Go to 7200 next year & I'd recommend a 1.5"-to-1.625" stepped header. But if you go to a stout cam, with some additional head work, a stepped 1.625"-1.750" should also work well. Shoenfeld has good, and relatively cheap, headers for your application. Dave Im working on my 13 year olds ministock running a 2.5 with stock roller head with good valves and springs right now have a stock ranger header on it thinking about an aftermarket header cant afford a tri y turning 5800 rpms now on 1/4 dirt track would the 1 1/2 header be the best and would it work if we changed cams and turned it like 7200 next year thanks for any help Jeff Gay
