25 is rather impressive!

In 51 years of attending races, still the latest night I ever spent at a race was at East Bay in the early 2000s when the show ran until 2:40 AM (no rain delay). Considering it. Weather permitting. I'm not driving the motorhome from Missouri to East Bay if there is snow predicted along the route.
Hoping to get there this being the last hurrah for the place. Haven't been there since the 80's. We lose another one, but it will never be forgotten.
The final 4 will be at east bay in 2024.

I'd almost say a person was not really a TRUE dirt race fan if they haven't done that a few times. Hone for breakfast . . . those were the days!
EastBay will not be the final 4 race. It will be the last race before the finals (DTWC will again be the finals)
I'm planning on being there ... i've not been 25 years in a row but i'm on a streak .. i had to miss a year occassionally due to work over the years.
I have been retired 24 of the 25 years, that helps.Quote:
