Ponderosa Speedway Adds Additional Test and Tune Dates on April 1 and April 8

Junction City, KY-February 26, 2011- Ponderosa Speedway would like to announce the addition of two more practice dates before the upcoming 2011 racing season begins at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval, better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring”.

A pair of test and tune dates was already set for March 18 and March 25, but now there will be two more open test and tune practice dates take place on April 1 and April 8. All of these are Friday evening dates, with the practice time set to take place from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. each evening.

The 40th Anniversary season of racing at Ponderosa Speedway officially takes the green flag on Friday April 15, with a $1,500 to win special for Super Late Models, along with a full program of racing competition for Pro Late Models, Modifieds, Super Dirt Stocks, Pure Street, Front Wheel Drives, and Open Four Cylinders.
