sure would love to see a lm show there. maybe some sprints too even
Track is maybe just a bit bigger than the track for the gateway Dirt Nationals.
The track just inside turn 3 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

I don’t know that late models would race it all that well. It’s pretty narrow.
The comparison would be, watching a sprint car race from Action Track USA, in Kutztown PA.

No lights, would have to be a day show. The place was built for midgets.
The track was designed to be similar to Tri-State Speedway in layout and size. The UMP Summer Nationals visits Tri-State, so late models could certainly race at the IMS dirt track. I’ll make a prediction that it will never happen. Maybe full size sprints, but never late models.
I didn't see a light pole anywhere in that overhead pic
Two temporary / portable Musco light units are brought in for every BC 39. They are on flatbed truck trailers and each unit has multiple lights on each tower. It's not hard to light that small track up.
The IMS dirt track is not as big as Haubstadt. Fast time at IMS: Dirt Draft Hot Laps Fastest Driver: Cannon McIntosh (12.136) Haubstadt: Chris Windom, 89, CBI-13.377 (New Track Record)
The IMS dirt track is smaller than the Indy Circle City dirt track. Midget fast time at CC was 12.8. I was surprised last year when the Circle City CJ Rayburn Memorial Race ran about the first 34 laps green, until the first caution flew. Late models were entertaining at CC.
thanks for all the info everyone
