I have the 2009 setup book and it calls for a 24" pull bar w/ blue & black bisquit(s). Is this just a regular bisquit type bar with no spring like a AFCO or other brand pull bar?

I am pretty sure this is the one Shaw was using in 09

Thanks, our older DW8 has a spring type bar on it and works good. I can find no reference to spring type, etc for the Shaw.
Shaw sells a pretty nice progressive spring bar for their mods,Ive been running one for awhile.
What about a solid bar with no rubber bushings/bisquits? I have seen of couple cars like that.
We switched our Shaw over to the xfactor bushings this season and its made alot of difference in the initial bite. Bushings have lasted around 6 -8 nights before we noticed a loss in traction, but its better than what we ran last year and has lasted longer.
I use to run there stuff till couple years ago the bushing were pulling the large washer through them and it was a know problem but they wouldnt do anything about it. However if that problem was fixed and i beleave it is i would run one in a heart beat great forward bite with it.
I dont think it was the material as much as the way they were built. The old 5 inch ones had hard rubber on the ends and the soft to get the progression in the middle then the newer 7 inch ones were 4-5 hard ribs then soft ones on on end and that is were we where having our problems. I liked it on dry better than a spring and i never liked the afco bar with bushings inside the spring it was to touchy for my heavy foot.
Never seen that one I guess, the 5 inch we run is just soft on one end. We use both the 1" and the 5" depending on the track. We tried the 7" but it was for momentum tracks but we switched back to the 5" and went a little softer. Do you have a shaw too?
No at that time we had a pierce now we have a bms
How do you like the bms?
Yes, beware of buying the Xfactor bushing. Terrible service.
Look guys, I don't work for XFactor or sale their products. I do however like the bushings and have had stuff overnighted with great service. Yes I've heard stories but c'mon guys, how many of us have went through the Big D and lose everything... So I won't bash they guy, because he makes a good product now which is all that matters to us. Good luck to all of ya and God Bless!
like it so far
