SUPER LATE MODELS RETURN TO VCS THIS SUNDAY, MAY 19TH FOR "THE INAUGURAL SALT FORK SHOOTOUT!"

Coming this Sunday, May 19th at 6PM to THE Vermilion County Speedway: "THE INAUGURAL SALT FORK SHOOTOUT!" featuring the Sunoco American Late Model Series racing for a $2,000 first place prize! Also on the card for the evening...the ultra competitive U.M.P. Modifieds, and door banging U.M.P. Stock Cars! The tentative list of drivers that will be racing with the SUNOCO American Late Model event at VCS include hometown favorite Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, IL, Shannon Babb, Kevin Weaver, Ryan Unzicker, Brandon Sheppard, Tanner English, Kyle Logue, and Randy Korte. VCS will also be featuring a full scale "Race In Place" dirt late model simulator by Rhoads Racing Promotions(www.rhoadsracingpromotions.com/. Come see if you can turn the fastest lap, and earn a shot at winning at prize! Concesssions will be provided by "Lil-J's Kitchen...featuring ribeye steak sandwiches, and delicious ice cream! The Main Gate opens at 4PM, and racing is set to start at 6PM. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults. Grandstand admission is FREE for children 12 and under when accompanied by a paying adult.
