NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 27 And Final Round Up

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Stuart Wilson of Milton, FL and Jason Savage of Mount Juliet, TN closed out the 2015 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division season with wins in Week 27 action. The final week of the season also set the Top 10 drivers in the 2015 point standings that will collect a check out of the $5,000 point fund.

Wilson drove the Wilson Lumber Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to his eighth NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division win of the season on Saturday night at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL.

Savage picked up his second NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division win of the season on Saturday night with a 40-point victory at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN driving the Jones Construction Chevrolet.

Richie Stephens of Salem, AL will honored as the 2015 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division National Champion at the NeSmith Racing Annual Awards Banquet on January 23 at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame and Thunder Road Museum in Dawsonville, GA. Stephens will receive a check for $2,000 out of the point fund. The Top 10 drivers will also be honored at the Awards Banquet.

Stephens had a perfect 14 week total of 700 points that represented 14 50-point wins. For the season, Stephens set a single-season record of 20 wins, 27 top five finishes and 29 top ten finishes in 33 races driving the Rocketman Race Cars Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

Brooks Strength of Raymond, MS is the 2015 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division National Championship Runner-Up with a best 14 week total of 698 points. In 22 races, Strength had 12 wins and 21 top five finishes driving the Sauls Farm Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

Branden Harris of Molino, FL will finish third in the 2015 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with a best 14 week total of 691 points. Harris had seven wins, 18 top ten finishes and 22 top ten finishes in 26 races. Harris finished 14th on Saturday night at Southern Raceway driving the Coastal Engine and Machine Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

Steve Pate of Heflin, AL will take the fourth spot in the 2015 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division point standings with a best 14 week total of 678 points. In 20 races, Pate had three wins and 19 top five finishes driving the Pate Racing Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

Bo Bailey of Milton, FL is fifth in the standings with a best 14 week total of 670 points after two wins, 19 top five finishes and 25 top ten finishes in 26 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division races. Bailey drove the L&L Construction Services Chevrolet to a seventh-place finish on Saturday night at Southern Raceway, and did not net any points.

Larry Faulk of Monroeville, AL will finish the 2015 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division season by finishing sixth in the standings with a best 14 week total of 699 points. Faulk drove the Faulk Motorsports Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 603 Engine to four wins, 15 top five finishes and 24 top ten finishes in 25 races.

Calvin Cook of Pace, FL and Brandon Kilpatrick of Jay, FL tied for the seventh spot in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division point standings. Each driver had a best 14 week total of 663 points. Cook had the tie-breaker advantage with four wins to three wins for Kilpatrick.

In just 15 races NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division races, Cook had four wins, 11 top five finishes and 14 top ten finishes driving the A&P Welding Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

Kilpatrick had three wins, 12 top five finishes and 17 top ten finishes in 19 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division races driving the Kilpatrick Racing Chevrolet. Kilpatrick drove the Kilpatrick Racing Chevrolet to a second-place finish in Saturday night at Southern Raceway to net eight points.

Jason Jarrell of Hattiesburg, MS is ninth in the 2015 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with a best 14 week total of 654 points. Jarrell drove the Jarrell Rigged Race Cars Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to one win, 14 top five finishes and 19 top ten finishes in 24 races.

David Windham of Florala, AL rounds out the top ten in the 10th and final points fund-paying spot in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with a best 14 week total of 652 points after three wins, 13 top five finishes and 15 top ten finishes in 18 races.

Windham drove the Florala Pharmacy Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to a 13th-place finish on Saturday night at Southern Raceway, and did not net any points in NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 27 competition.
