What's the fastest 100lapper you seen in person?
It is sure nice to see you on here lovely lady. I hope you are well.
We did that 100 lapper at Atomic in like 36 minutes. One yellow flag as best as I can recall.
Wasn't a 100 lapper but I once saw a 40 lapper at Tyler co WoO it was 8 minutes caution free.
When Tri City had there 2 day battle at the beach show in 2011. There was one caution very early on the event. And Birky won the 100 lapper in about 21 minutes.
This guys have great stamina to run as hard as they do for that many laps green flag. The first time I ever raced I was 18years old great shape. Just graduated high school that spring and worked out on the week days. had a very physically demanding job. We went 25 laps caution free at Rome Speedway in a limited late model. I was wore slap out. I couldn't hardly move my arms that week at work.
Didnt lanigan win the dream in 29 minutes the year he won it.
A 100 lapper on a 3/8 mile track in 21 minutes? Not sure that's possible HD:DMaybe your watch malfunctioned.
I've seen some fast 100 lappers at Macon but probably no record there. They never go caution free. But when they do get some long green flag runs, they click laps of pretty fast.
I stand corrected..... 34 minutes. Some reason I had 21 in my mind. Maybe it was 21 minutes from the only caution.

It was a woo sprint car race, it went green white checkerd. It took Sammy S. 6 1/2 minutes to knock down 35 laps. The sad part was we drove 4 hrs, we all were like that's it? Lol
Not a 100 lap race, but was in awe when I saw our very fist super late model race at Hesston Speedway go 50 laps in 13 minutes. Hooked on supers ever since!
I think a few years back we had a SOD 360 feature go 30 laps caution free in 12 minutes. And that was with like 24 cars starting
Duayne Hommel won one of my races in 2001 at Volunteer Speedway in just over 11 minutes for a 50 lapper. Caution free. And B_K tell me about it. I cannot pass that spot on 40 without getting a little misty eyed. So many great memories there for me and so many others.
i remember it being caution free the dream, but to remember the exact time i do not.
Sammy did this at Lernerville in 7:07 for a WOO 35 lapper A-main.
Don Martin and track prep guru Ouch Roeningk were a deadly combo when it came to giving the very best surface known to the world of pure clay racing. This was 20-some odd years ago when Lernerville was a cushion builder and chock-full of side bite. The pre-sand/sawdust days were pure fan enjoyment at the famed oval.
This was the first and only night we ever made it home by 11:00pm from Lernerville. 1am is usually the norm.
Edit: on a 4/10th track averaging 12.2 seconds and 118 mph.
Kyle Hirst won the Sprintcar Classic at Warnambool in Australia this year. 40 laps in 7 minutes 42 seconds. Broke the previous 40 lap track record by 1.13
