Kevin Weaver Race Party & Auction Info !!!
Gibson City, IL (2-13-12): Veteran Dirt Racer, Kevin Weaver will be having a Race Party & Auction on Saturday, March 3rd at the Sand Trap Bar & Grill's "Event Center", located at 120 East 1st Street (South end of Gibson City along State Routes 9 & 54).
The 48 year old Weaver, known in racing circles as the "Flatland Flash", has been competing in Dirt Racing for over 30 years... starting out in Go Karts, Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, and for over the last 25 years, competing predominately in many states and speedways across the eastern half of the United States in the Late Model Class. He has amassed many, many race wins through those years. He has also raced in some Modified events while running full Late Model seasons. The event begins at 4 PM on that date, with food being served until 7 PM. There will be keg beer, raffles, 50/50, and also an auction of various racing memorabilia, B12 doors, and other items beginning at 6 PM. Tickets will be on sale at the door for $10 per person, with children 12 and under (accompanied by and adult) getting in free. Also, there will be live music from 9 till midnight.
