Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series Will Sanction The Gobbler At Cleveland Only
FAYETTEVILLE, TN-The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series Gobbler 50, a $5,000 to win event on Friday night November 21st at the Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, TN., will be the only event the series will sanction during the weekend or racing in southeast Tennessee.
Sanctioning agreements could not be worked out between the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series and Boyds Speedway officials forcing both parties to agree that business is business and that they would do their own event on that Saturday night. Boyds Speedway and Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series officials will continue to work with each on the 2015 Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series schedule.
The Gobbler at Cleveland now becomes the final points race for he 2014 Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series season and it looks like Riley Hickman of Cleveland, TN., will be taking home his second straight series title along with Chris Wilson of Crossville, TN., taking home the Cruise with the Champions/Dirt On Dirt.com Rookie of the Year honors.
