Dave Poske's Performance Parts Named Title Sponsor Of Ultimate MOV Series

CARNESVILLE, GA – Fastrak/Ultimate Racing officials announced today that Dave Poske’s Performance Parts in Parkersburg, WV has agreed to be the Title Sponsor of the new Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series that will team with the American Motor Racing Association and sanction super late model racing in West Virginia and Southern Ohio.

The Dave Poske’s Performance Parts Ultimate MOV Series will share rules with the AMRA, which sanctions weekly super late model racing in West Virginia and Southern Ohio. AMRA members will now have a series to compete in Dave Poske’s Performance Parts Ultimate MOV events for more laps and more money, and receive AMRA Weekly Points.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to support the Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series,” Dave Poske’s Performance Parts General Manager Todd Frye said. “After talking to the Ultimate officials and hearing what they have planned, it made sense to get on board and support this. This will allow our AMRA drivers to run for increased purses while bringing in some tough regional competitors. The Mid-Ohio Valley has needed this for quite some time and we can't wait to get the first event underway for the Ultimate MOV Series.”

The 2017 season opener for the Dave Poske’s Performance Parts Ultimate MOV Super Late Model Series will be a tri-sanctioned event with its sister series, the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region and the Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series on Friday, April 7 at Beckley Motorsports Park in Beckley, WV for a $4,000-to-win race.

The Ultimate Super Late Model Series was formed in 2011, and it grew to draw competitors from outside its Southeastern base of operation. Ultimate Super Late Model Series Founder and CEO Stan Lester wanted race teams to only have to travel a maximum of three hours to races and compete for a Regional Super Late Model Championship.

In 2016, Lester launched the Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series to host races in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana. Then, by popular demand by race teams, Lester has launched the Dave Poske’s Performance Parts Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series to sanction races in West Virginia and Southern Ohio, and the Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series to sanction events in Pennsylvania.
