Nobody runs a 90/10 unless its extremely slick, then maybe, depending on your setup.
ive never tried a pull bar on a LM 4 bar setup it might work on a extremly slick track but I think this would produce so much forward bite you would have a hard time getting the front end to stick, I believe it would be trying to pick up the front end any time you picked up the throttle. I'm sure that someone with alot of time and money could make this work with tons of testing through shocks and pull bar placement and angle. I think the reason it works so well on mods with 4 bar is because they have a 8in tire limiting the bite so it can't produce enough forward to have an overwhelming effect on lifting of the front end. I maybe completly wrong on these thoughts but this is what I have figured while thinking about this before. but I do think there could be something to this if somebody has the time and resources to work it all out.

I run a pull bar on my 4 bar car, it's no big deal.
Pull Bar (torque link) or 5th coil (on a ladder bar) are both doing the same thing. 5th coil setup is more tunable (in general) but it's more of a driver preference thing. Neither is faster than the other if both are set up correctly.
Rayburn, Killer, KMRC, Warrior-SA and many more use pull bars in conjunction with swing arm suspension usually. Barry Wright built some 4 link cars in the past with pull bars that were dang near bullet proof back in the day. 90/10 aren't used much anymore since the "On The Hook" setups caught on. Most have switched to a higher rebound 5th arm shock, but the theory is that the 90/10 hinders hike up. Now Rayburn uses either a 1/14 or a pair of 10/90's laid back towards the rear of his cars.Quote:

I don't know anything about the bloomer setup, but I do know that Ive driven an older Shaw car that was 4bar both sides, with a pull bar setup including the 90/10 and the car 3 wheeled higher than anything Ive ever seen before. often times even in the slick...but despite the abundance of grip the car never seemed much faster than any of the other cars around me. but fun to drive for sure.
