Pretty sure he was at vado for the wild west
He was in FL also
It seems he wants out of the DoD gang. After watching the drive home with the way Rigsby and D suave act, and how arrogant they are can you blame him. Dustin is so much more better then those buffoons.
I think he's one of the best
I think all the DOD guys are cool. I really enjoy there hard work and what they do for racing.
He was in Florida catching a bunch of races!
He's pretty active on Twitter. https://twitter.com/DustinJarrett
He had his wife down in Florida with him part of the time ... she looks a whole better than any of that DoD bunch so i wouldn't hang with them either.
Imagine meeting some of these people in real life.
Well, I'm flattered anyone would start a post about me, lol.
I'm not "separating myself from the DoD guys" or anything along those lines haha. There isn't a day that goes by that Michael and Ben and I aren't working on upcoming projects, planning events, or just talking racing.
Simply put, with my position at FloRacing as the Global Partnership Manager, I'm spending as much time and effort as I can into making sure the partnerships with our tracks, series, and organizations are as successful as possible. With over 1,800 live events now on FloRacing, I've cut back on my content by probably 15-20%.
While several of the others were in Florida to give the fans as much content as they possibly could, I was there in a different role ... meeting with many of our 2022 partners to make sure we're on the same page for the upcoming season.
I'm still announcing all of the same races (Castrol FloRacing Night in America, World 100, Dream, Eldora Million, Gateway Dirt Nationals, Wild West Shootout, etc) and beyond thankful for the opportunity to continue working those events while having a hand in coordinating so many others at Flo.
DJ
That's good to hear that all is well
DJ is as real as they come, I knew he would reply to this thread. Great human being!
I would imagine Dustin probably choked on his coffee if he clicked on 4m and seen his name in bold print. Most don't play to kindly on here.
DJ is as good as they come!
I've always enjoyed DJ and think he's a very good announcer...a bit silly at times, but certainly knows his stuff. One thing that always strikes me when he calls a race is that he will use "behind of" rather than "behind". As in, Tyler Erb is behind of Boom Briggs rather than the shorter behind Boom Briggs. It always strikes my ear wrong. Both phrases are correct, but it must be a regional thing.
