Just wondering why some of these crate racing series don't allow like ford crates or like dodge crates race in their series? I think that would be pretty awesome to have different manufactures in the crate racing series...Just wondering why this hasn't come up or It may have..

Nesmith is the founder of the series that race crate engines. Nesmith owns a bunch of General Motors dealerships, so the late model classes only allow g.m. crate engines. Built engines are allowed in the Nesmith Street Stock class, but they must weigh more, and I think the open engines must run a 2 barrel, while the 602 crate engine powered cars can run a 4 barrel.
