Must be the unwelded one... dunno.
I'd love to see today's late model stars driving that style of car. What a fun race that would be.
they had it on display at tri city summernationals

Looks like the car that was welded to the trailer was actually one of the ones that was raced too.
I thought those cars were built by Roscoe Smith?
I believe the article said that roscoe built one of the 5 cas used to make the moving
The car on the trailer wasn't raced, it had been retired and was sitting in a field and had been raced by Sam Cochran #64 from Mableton, Georgia. They welded it to the trailer for the chase seen when the kids stole his racing rig(camper/trailer). Not sure how many cars were raced though or who built or owned them. They filmed it at Dixie Speedway, Seven Flags(West Atl Speedway) and I believe Senoia was in it too as Mikey Swimms owned all 3 back then.
great great movie... what's the asking price?? just wondering
The Late Billy Clanton did some of the stunt driving where cars needed to flip..
That and Days of Thunder, my favorite racing movies.
